i am a textile artist and teacher. i love creating and making - anything from a traditional patchwork quilt to textured mixed media collages. i like playing with a soldering iron, a heat gun and synthetic fabrics. my first love is painting but i don't get much time for it at the moment. i enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, working in my garden ( when the weather is good) and getting out into the countryside. shelves

my wonderful builders have performed their magic and built these fabulous shelves in the studio in an effort to tidy up all my 'stuff'. i'm going to spend the next few days having a sort out - i know i should be working but i don't feel very creative sitting in the middle of all my muddles!
