off the wall

here is a piece of work inspired by walls.
old stone walls are a current obsession, we have so many flint and chalk walls around here that there is a contant source of inspiration but wherever you are i know you will find an old wall with worn and weathered stone interspersed with lichen, moss and ivy - a textile artist's delight!

sweet peas

our wet summer has been a disaster for most plants in my garden but the sweet peas have been amazing - the colours are a joy.
