sneak preview

 four new small quilts based on vivaldi's four seasons ready for a new exhibition at the knitting and stitching shows - not quite finished yet but i'm really pleased with them. i don't think the photos will show all the detail, mostly machine work but there is quite a lot of surface stitchery.

something interesting

I've been playing with this T-shirt transfer stuff, printed off some of the bristol tiles photos and then torn up the plasticy stuff, made a collage and ironed it on to a fabric base

et voila! a mosaic to cut up and use as you wish - fantastic!

big freeze

Well it snowed

then the temperature dropped to -14'
